The nucleus holds most of the DNA of the organism and is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the cell. Not unlike our NWP. Fawkes (Ford Advanced World-wide-web Key Enterprise System) - As you may know, the phoenix in the book "Harry Potter" is called Fawkes. Phoenix rise from the ashes to something new and beautiful. They can carry very heavy loads, their tears can heal open wounds and their voice brings confidence to the honest and good people. All of this (somehow - ok it is a strech) also applies to Firefly Next Gen.

Come on everyone - don't be shy. Unless you give me your opinions then I'll make the decision without any input. :)
Although the response has been very slow, there have been some interesting names throw in the pot. I have two favorites,
Nucleus - Has a good strong feel about it and the thought behind it is very in keeping with the application. Does it translate well ??
Aurora - The fact this translates so well in countries is good and the meaning fits well with the project

Yeah, but I feel like every single IT project I've ever worked on has had some component called Aurora, or that the team was called Aurora. It's a bit, well, hackneyed.
Since people were asking about the meaning, Aurora was the Roman goddess of the dawn.
Anyway, in keeping with the "really good things that are orange" theme, let's call it Cruyff...

Phoenix is already the name of the BTrenewal (SAP) project of the parts business. And I think I have already heard of a Magic project in our company.
My favourite is still Fawkes. But I also like KISS because the system we are going to build really will be kickin. :-)
